The Main Gate
The Main Gate of the fort, on the east side was built into the ramparts of the fort. You can't see the gate in this photo, but the man on the walkway at the left of the photo has just passed through the gate. Behind him is the northeast bastion where the flagpole is located. Beyond the bastion in the distance is the hospital and mess hall.
