It's mission is to provide nutritional food to over 1,200 individuals in the community each month. (Trout Fishing Season)

Fishing privileges in the stream are limited to fly fishing members for a seasonal fee. The season ends December 31st. All trout must be kept and paid for. No releasing. In order to fish in the stream, you need a Pennsylvania fishing license and a Park fly fishing membership. Fishing privileges in the stream are limited to a list of approved membership numbering no more than 100. |

The Brandywine Festival of the Arts is an annual arts festival in Wilmington, Delaware. Featuring hundreds of juried artists exhibiting one-of-a-kind art, the festival is a Delaware tradition spanning 51 years. Now regionally popular and nationally recognized, the Brandywine Festival of the Arts boasts participants from across the United States and perennially ranks in the top 100 shows in the country. The Chadds Ford Historical Society hosts a battle reenactment... a historical journey back to September 11th 1777, when the British army engaged Washington's troops at Chads' Ford. Two timed skirmishes and a firing demo will take place each day. Additionally, reenactors, camp followers, demonstrators and other historians will be on site for all to engage with. Live music, food, and beverages will be available.
For the kids: 2pm Saturday and Sunday there will be a "School of the Soldier". Experience what it would be like to be a soldier in Washington's Army. Kids will join the Regiment on the field using wooden muskets to learning drill and firing commands.
Admission at the gate on the day of the event. $10 for adults 18 and older.

The Pennsylvania Hunt Cup is a Timber steeplechase race with a distance of four miles and 22 fences, over fair hunting country. It is a substantial test of both horse and rider, and is one of just three 4-mile steeplechase races sanctioned by the National Steeplechase Association. First run in 1921 the race moved to Unionville in 1964. Race meeting includes three sanctioned timber races, and the Pennsylvania Pony Hunt Cup for children. |
