Sunflowers

A friend called me to tell me that she just saw a field of sunflowers in bloom on Longwood Road and that I should go take a picture since it was going to rain and the shot would not be there tomorrow. I got in my car and drove right over and took some shots. I wasn't alone. At least six or seven other photographers were wandering about, some with step ladders and super long lenses... the kind sports photographers use. I just snapped away with my Canon digital. Sunflowers to the horizon. Quite a sight.
