Back in 1979, the Brandywine Arts Festival was a lot smaller than it is today. Some people went to see the art, hung on a storm fence, and the crafts displayed on tables. Others came out of curiousity, and to stand and listen to the folk singers who had come to play.
The Brandywine Arts Festival is held annually on the weekend after Labor Day.
