Porky Oliver Golf Course 800 North Dupont Road | Wilmington, DE | 302.571.9041 |
|
Par 69. 18 holes with water in play on two. This course was built in 1910 and used to be Wilmington Country Club. It gets a lot of traffic. A pretty straight-forward, traditional parkland layout. There is a small driving range near the first tee. Comments? |

Rock Manor Golf Course Foulk & Weldin Roads | Wilmington DE | 302.652.4083 |
New 18 hole layout re-opened May 28, 2008. The Rock has been lengthened from 5,779 yards to an 18-hole, 6,405-yard championship design by golf-course architect Lester George. The course has new tee boxes, greens, bunkers and fairways, as well as a state-of-the-art irrigation system that is supposed to keep it in top playing condition all season long. If you remember the old Rock you may recognize the first and second tees and a few trees here and there and the tee shot on 18 that used to be the second tee, but this is an entirely new course. The greens are difficult to say the least, but the roll is true... truely impossible if you are on the wrong side of the pin. A great new course and priced for play! Comments? |
The Rookery Golf Course Route 1 & Route 16 | Milton DE | 302.684.3000 |

A water laden, championship 18-hole layout designed by 1999 PGA Senior Club Pro Champ Pete Oakley and Chris Adkins. The course is set between mounds to the west and a heron rookery to the east just off the Broadkill River. Comments? |
